Qantas pumps capacity for the holidays

Qantas is keeping up with passenger demand, and upping its capacity to Dallas/Fort Worth and Hong Kong for the holiday season.

Currently operating six flights per week between Sydney and Dallas/Fort Worth, Qantas is bumping it up to daily services from December 8 2015 to January 19 2016.

Qantas also operates daily B747 services between Sydney and Hong Kong at present, and is set to upgrade services on five days of the week to an A380 aircraft.

Effective from December 10 2015 until January 20 2016, the airline will upgrade its services on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Expect upgrades on the same route to A380 services every day from January 21 to February 16.

The additional seasonal services follow Qantas’ recent announcement to operate 33 return services between Sydney and Vancouver – 13 return services in June/July, and 20 return services from mid-December to late January 2016.

On top of the extra capacity, Qantas is also giving three lucky customers who book by March 31 the chance to win return business class tickets and one-day march tickets for two to the 2016 French Open in Paris.

As part of the ‘A Connection like No Other’ campaign between Qantas and Emirates, passengers can also score return fares to Dubai from Aussie cities from $1399, up until the end of March.

Travellers can also keep an eye out for an ad campaign supporting the joint sale activity and two year anniversary of the airline partnership, which will pop up on digital, radio and print.
