Pinpoint Travel Group will slash deposits in response to agent feedback, with the wholesaler to also increase its product range in the wake of Creative Holidays’ closure.

Head of wholesale Andrew Hutchinson confirmed that deposits will be reduced to $55 per person and also that, in the event of a cancellation, deposit values will be held in suspense for use for six months from the date of cancellation.

“We have listened to feedback from our agents and believe it is time to change our policy to allow agents to compete in the changing marketplace,” he said.

The changes are effective from the 18th January for all new bookings.

Hutchinson also revealed that the group will add Canada, the Cook Islands and New Caledonia to its product range in the wake of Creative’s closure to “assist agents with bookings in those destinations”.

Pinpoint includes Freestyle Holidays, Rosie Holidays and The Collection as part of its portfolio.
