You know, the little bits of cardboard on our doors we so often forget about until the cleaners are pounding on our door at 7 am?

Flores is a retired UN worker who has collected the signs from hotels and Innes across the globe, reports CNN Travel.

Although he began his collection by accident, he has become passionate about the art, design and stories that so often accompany the signs.

According to CNN, he began collecting in 1995 after displaying a particularly interesting Do Not Disturb sign in his office

One day, a colleague noticed the sign and asked if he collected them which sparked the beginning of his obsession.
