New Travel Company will Fly Guests on Qantas Charter Flights
Australia’s newest travel company Constellation Journeys, have revealed plans to launch all-inclusive global adventures taking guests by privately chartered Qantas Boeing 747 to some of the world’s most amazing destinations.
The company today unveiled its website first journey brochure and inaugural itinerary – departing Sydney in April 2018 and visiting seven spectacular global destinations – Hanoi, India, The Serengeti, Marrakech, NewYork, Havana andTahiti.
Founder and Managing Director Dan Kotzmann said his company would meet demand from growing number of Australians seeking streamlined access to exotic travel experiences.
“An important trend in tourism is the emergence of new opportunities for experiential, educational and active adventure travellers, regardless of age,” he said.
“Having our own dedicated aircraft supported by the operational integrity of Qantas, allows us to set the agenda, travelling where and when we want to go,” he said.
Speaking about travel agents, he added, “At Constellation Journeys we have a strong belief in working with retail travel agents, we see travel agents as an integral part of the Australian travel industry and will seek to work alongside agents as our partners.”
“We will be reaching out to luxury leisure agents and are interested to engage in select co-operative promotional opportunities.
“Constellation Journeys will pay a 10 per cent commission to all travel agents on the full brochured price of our tours. We won’t exclude components of the cost – such as tipping or taxes – when we calculate the commission.
No smoke and mirrors, no ifs, no buts – our commission structure is an authentic 10 per cent.
The chartered 747 will be crewed by two Qantas Captains and a First Officer, 18 in flight cabin crew and team of seven Qantas support staff including three catering experts, travelling engineer, security officer and load controller. Pilot in Command will be Captain David Oliver, 35- year Qantas veteran and the airline’s Boeing 747 Fleet Senior Training Captain.
Onboard, a six-class configuration will offer First Class, Business Plus, Business Class, Premier Class, Superior Plus and Superior Class.
“Our team, including dedicated First Class and Business Class hosts, tour leaders and doctor, will take care of every detail of arrangements to escort our guests safely and comfortably between the world’s iconic and lesser-known destinations,” Mr Kotzmann added.
Constellation Journeys will offer a range of flight and luxury accommodation combinations to appeal to varying preferences and budgets.
First Class
In the exclusivity of the Qantas FirstClass cabin service will be overseen by a dedicated Constellation Journeys FirstClass Host to assist guests with all needs in the air and on the ground. The ultimate journey includes thoughtful extras like laundry service and private car transfers to and from the airport. On the ground, FirstClass guests will experience the high life at the most dazzling hotels in the Constellation Collection, including spacious luxury suites.
Business Plus
In the private upper deck complete with angled lie flat bed, guest will enjoy the attention of dedicated Business Class host. Enhanced Business Class meal service will be complemented by First Class wine cellar selections including Vintage Champagne. Little extras like pyjamas and amenity kits featuring ASPAR skincare products from Australian company Aurora Spa will add to flying in comfort. On the ground, guests will enjoy complimentary upgrades in select hotels, a provided mid tour laundry service and nothing but the best in every destination.
Business Class
Features Qantas’ Award winning capsule seats with full international Business Class service and the next level of comfort in angled lie flat seats. On the ground, guest will stay in exceptional hotels. A laundry service will be provided half way through our adventure.
Premier Class
Flying in Premium Economy seats designed with the utmost comfort and relaxation in mind. Includes fine dining options with Business Class style meals and bar service.
Superior Plus
Ample room to spread out in a Qantas main cabin economy class seat with a guaranteed window or aisle seat and an empty space alongside. Enhanced dining and bar service is of course included.
Superior
SuperiorClass guest will travel in comfortable main cabin economy class and enjoy VIP service including French Champagne and enhanced dining.
