Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is expanding its Australia and New Zealand sales team with three new appointments.

Reporting to NCL’s senior sales manager AUNZ, Angela Middleton, the new appointments include:

    • Lara Anderson, business development manager – VIC and TAS
    • Sheena Smith, business development specialist – VIC
    • Samantha Morgan, business development specialist – NSW, ACT and WA

“We’re thrilled to announce these three new appointments at such an exciting time for Norwegian Cruise Line,” said Damian Borg, NCL director of sales, Australia and New Zealand.

“As we count down to the debut of Norwegian Viva in Europe in August and our return to cruising in Asia after more than three years, our growing team is ready to hit the ground running to help our valued travel partners be successful. With a dedicated trade team of 11 – including field sales and sales support – along with our continued commitment to providing a local contact centre, we can’t wait to continue to build our trade engagement strategies and future success in this market.”

As NCL’s new business development manager for Victoria and Tasmania, Anderson brings over 25 years’ travel and cruise experience.

She was most recently national business development manager for Creative Cruising and prior to this worked within the Helloworld and Travel Counsellors retail network. Anderson has plenty of experience within the cruise industry – having sailed over 50 times with her family.

Smith joins as a business development specialist, working alongside Anderson in Victoria and focused particularly on Flight Centre and home-based agents. With over 15 years in the travel industry, including as a Flight Centre consultant and as a BDM with Contiki, Trafalgar and APT, her most recent role saw her broaden her skillset at Minc Marketing.

After honing her skills in the sales support team, Morgan also steps into a business development specialist role. Bolstering NCL’s representation in NSW/ACT alongside business development manager Chris Catanzariti, Sam will primarily engage Flight Centre and home-based agents across NSW/ACT and all agents in WA.
