“It’s our shout”: Flight Centre is giving away free holidays!

Flight Centre is offering customers the chance to win one of 40 holidays in its biggest competition to date.

Customers can enter in-store, online, or by pre-registering for the Travel Runway 2.0 virtual experience.

That’s right – Travel Runway is back in 2022!

“It’s our 40th birthday, so it’s our shout!” said Flight Centre’s global managing director Andrew Stark.

“40 lucky customers will each win a holiday from a total prize pool of up to $400,000 in our first global competition that is bigger than any prize draw we’ve run before.”

The competition is open to customers in every country where Flight Centre operates “to open up the world for those who want to see,” including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom and Canada.

“Our 40th birthday is all about Flight Centre maturing into a truly global entity, so the scale of our 40th birthday prize draw and the launch of our bigger, bolder Travel Runway 2.0 virtual experience have been designed to reflect just that,” said Stark.

“We’re also putting every frontline flight centre employee into a draw to win a holiday. It’s a small token we feel our people deserve after a whirlwind two years as travel booms once again.”

Travel Runway is Flight Centre’s virtual fashion show for travel and launches on 9 June 2022.

The online interactive experience lets customers sample seven unique “runways” showcasing a collection of the world’s most tantalising travel experiences from the enticing islands and beaches to the world’s most luxurious escapes, heart-pumping adventures, the best airlines, food experiences and more.

Each runway showcases some of the best destinations and experiences travellers can have in each of these categories, as well as personal expert tips from Flight Centre travel experts around the globe.

People can choose to watch just one, or watch them all together.

“As the demand for travel continues to increase, we’re focusing on meeting our customers where they are, be that instore, over the phone or online,” Stark said.

“We’re seeing customers who have never booked with a travel agent before coming to us. But it’s not just about booking travel, our people are experts because they’ve travelled far and wide, and the Travel Runway experience is about sharing that knowledge and inspiring customers to do the same.”

Pre-registration to secure exclusive access to Travel Runway, and gain automatic entry into the prize draw of 40 holidays, opens on 25 May 2022.
