The Globus family of brands has announced three senior appointments in its Australian headquarters, representing a significant renewal for the national operations.

The new leaders will head up the company’s sales, marketing and inbound teams.

Peter Douglas has been appointed national sales manager, bringing extensive experience in both the wholesale travel sector and airline industry. Previously, Douglas was the national sales manager at Excite Holidays and is a past sales director for Creative Holidays.

Working closely with regional sales manager Nigel Balm and the national sales team, Douglas will be responsible for the planning and implementation of all sales activities for the Globus family of brands.

Adam Mussolum has been appointed national marketing manager, having joined Globus two years ago as Digital Marketing Manager. He brings a depth of digital and traditional marketing experience from his previous role at Globus as well as his past roles as marketing manager at World Expeditions, Alpine World and Ski One.  He will be responsible for all marketing initiatives associated with the Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways and Monograms brands in Australia.

Gabrielle McCarthy has been appointed to the position of inbound manager, having joined Globus more than three years ago as a product manager.  McCarthy has previously worked in various travel industry roles including operations manager for Grand Circle Travel and as a tour director for Trafalgar Tours, AAT Kings and Contiki Holidays. As Inbound Manager, Gabrielle will oversee the Australian, New Zealand and Asian tour products offered in markets overseas and in Australia.

Globus family of brands managing director Australasia Stewart Williams said “together with other recent additions, the appointments of Peter, Adam and Gabrielle give us a very strong team in our Sydney headquarters and bring a very high level of experience both from within and outside the company.

“With strong leaders in each of our core functions, we look forward to the continued strength of the Globus brands and further growth in the future,” Williams added.
