Feast with the fish

The world’s first underwater nightclub, Subsix, has re-emerged as a subaquatic playground, transforming into whatever guests imagine it to be.

From private Champagne breakfasts under the garden of coral-like chandeliers, to lunchtime celebrations at the clam-inspired bar, to midnight proposals by the floor to ceiling windows, Subsix has responded to its rave reviews, evolving into a creative space 500 metres from the shore and six metres below the surface.

Located at PER AQUUM Niyama, in the Maldives, Subsix bears witness to over 90 coral reef species, and a dense variety of marine life. The specially designed underwater room integrates into the natural reef, and enriches the ecosystem of the habitat.

The colourful parrotfish, slimy moray eels, giant groupers, and the occasional friendly turtle, ensure even the most awkward of dinner dates will be the ones to remember.

Activities hosted by Subsix include marine biologist-led immersions, subaquatic lunches, gourmet dinners, weddings, hosted events, wine tastings, a weekly Glow Party, and DJ nights.
