Don’t forget to nominate for Women in Travel 2018!

Don’t forget to nominate for Women in Travel 2018!

ICYMI, Women in Travel is back for 2018! So get entering, now!

Did we mention we already have entries flowing in? A huge congrats to Colleen Lacey from Travelmanagers Buddina Queensland, who was the first Women in Travel entrant for 2018!

Pretty inspirational. And this years Women in Travel Awards will recognise exactly that; inspirational women.

Inspirational women are all around us – leading, innovating and mentoring the next generation, and Travel Weekly is set to recognise this with it’s annual Women in Travel Awards.

Running for the third year, these awards recognise those exceptional women who have achieved astronomic success in their professional arenas and celebrates their invaluable contribution through their leadership, innovation and courage to the travel industry.

If you think you could be one of these exceptional women (and you obviously are) head right here to enter either yourself or another industry champ. But if you don’t want to enter yourself, you can nominate a friend!

As history shows us, women aren’t exactly the best at sticking their hand up and claiming the praise. So that’s where we can all pitch in.

If you have an amazing lady friend, who you think does a pretty A+ job in her travel-related field – be it hotels, cruise, travel agencies, airlines, or otherwise – then it’s time to nominate them.

All you have to do is fill in their details and tell us why they’re deserving. Then we’ll do the rest and get them entered and praised – and maybe even give them an award! So nominate one of your fabulous, hard working friends right here.

This year, there are a whopping 18 categories to enter:

1. Employer of the Year
2. Social Media
3. Road and Rail
4. Retail
5. Corporate
6. Rising Star of the Year
7. Marketer of the Year
8. Mentor of the Year
9. PR of the Year
10. Sales Person of the Year
11. Wholesale
12. Cruise
13. Aviation
14. Tourism Board
15. Technology
16. Hotel
17. Entrepreneur of the Year
18. Male Champion of Change

This years gala dinner and awards will be held on June 21 at Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf.

The deadline for entries is 5pm AEST, Thursday 11 April – which we know is a lil’ while away, but procrastination can be killer! Especially when nominating is super easy.
