Corporate travel player launches ‘world-first’ wellness program

As business travel slowly begins to restart, Complete Business Travel (CBT) has launched a new wellness program for its clients.

With many people still working remotely and travelling less due to COVID-19 restrictions, CBT has partnered with a new streaming platform designed for corporations to invest in their people and give them the tools to balance their own wellbeing, around the clock, wherever they are.

The partnership provides CBT’s clients with access to some of the world’s best fitness and wellbeing specialists, who are all available live or on-demand.

Simon McLean, founder and managing director of CBT, said investing in the wellness of staff can save employers in the long run, but throwing cash at ineffective health campaigns and idle gym memberships doesn’t always help.

“Modern life is stressful and pretty unhealthy at the best of times, but now taking care of ourselves and our staff is vital,” he said.

“We needed to think outside the box to find a new approach to wellness for our clients.

“There’s the science behind wellness concepts, and then there’s the mind and body, or more spiritual side – combine these and it’s a perfect antidote to a hectic lifestyle.”

With this new wellness program, McLean said companies can track staff participation and expect high value for a low price.

And, according to CBT, it is the only travel management company in the world to offer its clients a wellness program that’s this comprehensive.
