Concierge Travel Group rebrands following acquisition

Chiang Rai, Thailand: September 18, 2019 - Two painters are painting the exterior of the building on a dangerous looking scaffolding hanging from a tall building.

Global corporate travel management company Reed & Mackay has announced a rebrand of Concierge Travel Group after acquiring the business and its associated brands last year.

Concierge Travel Group and Concierge Business Travel will operate fully under the Reed & Mackay brand from today.

David Greenland, managing director of Concierge Travel Group, said “Since being acquired by Reed & Mackay, we have been busy planning the integration, preparing to move onto their systems and readying ourselves to fully align with Reed & Mackay.

“With that work now mostly complete, we felt the time was right to cap it off with the name change.

“Doubtless there will be a touch of nostalgia with the Concierge Travel brand going, but it’s not the first time in our 40 years we’ve made such a change and we see it as part of our ongoing evolution.

“Reed & Mackay’s high-service ethos aligned well with that of Concierge, and now we have their innovative travel management technology, we’re delighted to be able to put a differentiated offering into the Australian market.”

The rebrand does not affect Concierge’s leisure brand, Concierge Traveller, nor its destination management company Alquemie which, earlier this week, announced a merger with Elegant Resorts & Villas.
