P&O Partners with Fairfax Good Food Month
P&O Cruises will be giving Sydneysiders a taste of the high seas this month, thanks to a new partnership with Fairfax Good Food Month.
As part of its program of food events in Sydney throughout October, Good Food Month is offering the chance to enjoy lunch at Salt grill by Luke Mangan onboard Pacific Pearl during one of its days in port.
To celebrate the partnership, P&O Cruises’ Pacific Pearl provided the setting for the media launch of Good Food Month in Sydney last week.
More than 140 people attended the event which saw guests enjoying a range of Luke Mangan gourmet canapes along with Champagne and Pimms cocktails. P&O will also be providing entertainment segments at the popular Good Food Month Night Noodle Markets throughout the month.
Flow with a pro on Ovation of the Seas

P&O Cruises Makes History in Solomon Islands
P&O Cruises’ Pacific Eden today became the largest cruise ship to visit the remote paradise of Gizo in the Solomon Islands as part of a history-making voyage.
The visit to Gizo, which is the capital of the Western Province, Solomon Islands, is P&O’s inaugural call to the port and the first of two maiden visits for Pacific Eden in the Solomon Islands.
P&O Cruises President Sture Myrmell thanked the City of Gizo community for the special welcome for Pacific Eden’s 1500 guests. Prior to P&O’s call, only smaller expedition style ships have visited the city.
