Allianz reveals the risks of travel

Travellers are being urged to find the right insurance to minimise overseas dilemmas and costs, after an insightful infographic hit the web.

Allianz Global Assistance has released a new infographic that shows the alarming number of medical repatriation distances the company has covered in the two years between 2013-14, as well as revealing the escalating costs of overseas medical services.

Falling ill or getting injured overseas can become very expensive, so it’s crucial to find the right travel insurance policy that suits you and your travel needs.

It’s a well known fact that holidays do not come risk free and if you are in an accident or need help, then you want the reassurance that someone will be there 24/7 no matter where you are in the world.

AGA reported it assisted with approximately 160,000 customers every year, with illness, injuries and accidents representing more than 109,552 cases from Aussies last summer alone.
