Agents tap into Weekly Specials to aid spontaneous sales

Trafalgar and CostSaver will soon launch Weekly Specials on their respective websites offering savings of between 10-15%.

The new range of Weekly Specials is said to be as a result of an increasing trend in last minute holiday bookings and will last six days, 23 hours and 59 minutes, “encouraging a sense of urgency and spontaneity,” according to The Travel Corporation brands.

“We’re constantly speaking to our guests and monitoring industry-wide travel trends so that we can respond to these insights,” Trafalgar Managing Director Matthew Cameron-Smith said.

“It is the perfect selling tool for agents whose clients are travelling soon and looking for a great holiday at a fantastic price.”

Trafalgar and CostSaver’s respective websites will be updated every Wednesday morning with a selection of ten to fifteen Weekly Specials, each offering savings of between 10-15%. Specials will be themed to make it easier for agents to quickly assess if they are relevant for their clients, with a focus on destinations such as Iberia Specials, USA & Canada Specials or events like Christmas Market Specials.
