AFTA crowns NTIA winners
This year’s night of nights, the National Travel Industry Awards, was held on Saturday night in Sydney, awarding the industry’s finest across 38 categories.
It was a winning night for Helloworld who cleaned up both the Best Travel Agency Group and Best Non-Branded Travel Agency Group categories. Helloworld Hunter Travel Group/RACT Travel also won the Best Travel Agency Retail-Multi Location category.
For the airlines, Virgin Australia took the prize for Best Domestic Airline, while the Best International Airline (on-line) was won by Emirates, with Finnair taking out Best International Airline (off-line) category for the fourth year running.
Sponsored by International Traveller, the People’s Choice Retail Travel Agency of the Year was won by a very excited Queanbeyan City Travel & Cruise.
