AAT Kings launches new partnership with AusCycling

AAT Kings has announced its sponsorship of AusCycling to see it become the official Travel Experience partner of Australia’s national sporting organisation for all forms of cycling.

The announcement coincides with the final lead-up to the 2022 UCI Road World Championships, to be held in Wollongong from 18 to 25 September.

As part of the sponsorship, AAT Kings will provide a ‘green and gold’ branded coach to support the AusCycling team throughout the World Championships. Additionally, AAT Kings will be providing fun activities for visitors to Australia Park, which will be AusCycling’s central hub during the event.

“We’re extremely proud to be supporting AusCycling through this inaugural sponsorship and believe this is just the beginning of what we hope will become a long term partnership,” Bridie Commerford, chief marketing and digital officer of AAT Kings, said.

Agostino Giramondo, the executive general manager of commercial, clubs and community for AusCycling added: “AusCycling is thrilled to welcome AAT Kings as a new sponsor, as we commence the countdown to the long anticipated 2022 UCI Road World Championships in Wollongong.

“Anyone who loves cycling will want to enter this competition for a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Wollongong.

“And we can’t wait to showcase our Aussie athletes in the green and gold luxury coach – if you’re in town for the Worlds, you won’t miss it!”

To celebrate the new partnership with AusCycling, AAT Kings is giving the public the chance to win exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the UCI’s pinnacle road cycling event.

This prize includes return flights to Sydney for two people with airport transfers to Wollongong, accommodation, behind the scenes access to the UCI Road World Championships and an exclusive invitation to an evening with Cadel Evans, hosted by Matt Keenan.
