Workshop to get agents safari ready
By admin

The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) has launched an online training programme for travel agents as part of a strategy to maximise confidence in selling Kenya as a number one destination.

The workshops will educate agents on safari experiences on offer in Kenya and how they can best sell the destination to first-time Africa visitors as well as return travelers, through the online training platform YourWorkshops.

In addition to gaining valuable knowledge from the program, KTB is offering agents who register for the workshop the chance to win substantial prizes including a spectacular seven day safari holiday for two to Kenya courtesy of Adventure World and Kenya Airways.

For the first 100 agents to register and complete their training with 100%, KTB will offer a Magical Kenya kikoy scarf perfect for keeping warm on those chilly safari nights and at home.

KTB Australian representative, Anne Morris, said the Australian market continued to be one of utmost importance to Kenya.

“KTB remains dedicated to empowering the trade here in Australia and the online training comes as a result of the recent roadshows in May and June,” Morris said.
