InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto has officially relaunched its Melbourne Suites, a collection of luxury suites inspired by the city and its iconic surrounds.

Paying homage to Melbourne’s unique cultural flair, the five-star hotel has themed and named nine of its hotel suites after some of the city’s favourite attractions, inspiring guests to explore everything that Melbourne has to offer.

Suites include the Degraves Laneway Suite, which embodies the heart of Melbourne’s lanfway culture, showcasing a mix of caf√© style and artistic design, as well as the Brighton Suite, modelled after Melbourne’s colourful beach atmosphere.

The Fitzroy Suite reflects the eccentric charm of the bohemian neighbourhood, while the Great Ocean Road Suite depicts Victoria’s most picturesque landscape with scenic photographs and ornaments.

Hotel manager Sebastian Germershausen said the new suites offer a glimpse into Melbourne’s culture, and aim to inspire guests.

“We are incredibly proud to be at the heart of one of the world’s most liveable cities, and are passionate about offering our guests an experience that is uniquely Melbourne,” he said.

“The Melbourne Suites have been designed to showcase the best of Melbourne city, sharing our knowledge and insights with guests and helping them to create memorable moments during their stay.”

The premium Melbourne Suites are categorised by Senior, Signature and Iconic suites, with each displaying works of the renowned Melbourne photographer Matt Irwin, whose images bring these highlights of Melbourne to life.

InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto is located on Collins Street, an area close to some of the city’s finest dining, arts and culture.

The heritage hotel is one of Melbourne’s last remaining examples of 19th Century Victorian architecture, with more information and booking available on the website
