Wyndham Hotels is to bring the TRYP brand to Australia with the opening of a hotel in Brisbane.

The four-storey TRYP Fortitude Valley, currently under construction in Constance Street, is expected to open in mid 2014.

“We are thrilled to welcome the first TRYP by Wyndham hotel in Australia and look forward to introducing this exciting cosmopolitan brand to business and leisure travellers from around the world,” said Wyndham South Pacific managing director Barry Robinson.

The opening will mark an “integral milestone” in the company’s plans expand its brands throughout Australia and the South Pacific, he added.

TRYP by Wyndham has more than 10 hotels worldwide and approximately 1400 rooms.
