The new aircraft features 30 lie-flat beds in business class, 48 seats in premium economy and 197 seats in economy.

It follows the recent introduction of A330-200 aircraft to Brisbane and Perth routes, and the announcement that an A380 will be deployed on its Sydney route from October 28. A new A3303-300 will also fly from Melbourne later in the year.

Air New Zealand will increase capacity between Wellington and Queenstown by 44% each week from July through to mid-October. Much of the extra capacity will be achieved by upgrading the 68-seat ATR turboprops currently used on the route to Boeing 737-300 aircraft.

A new "Sell three and get one free" incentive across the Busabout, Haggis and Shamrocker brands has been launched to coincide with its June sale.

Agents must three of any of the same category of products from the following "on sale" categories in June to be eligible to receive one for themselves: all hop-on hop-off passes; all five-day and over Haggis and Shamrocker tours; all Eastern Europe tours; Croatia sailing tours; Scandinavia and Baltics tours; Turkey sail tours.

Back-Roads Touring is offering up to 15% off selected September departures of its 7-day Croatia & the Dalmatian Coast journey.
