New Horizons is reminding agents and their guests that the visa fees on arrival into Denpasar airport have increased from USD$25 to USD$35.

The increase is effective immediately, and can be paid in either Australian or US dollars, however guests travelling with New Horizons can prepay the fee at the time of booking.

 

According to the Tourism & Transport Forum (TTF), Sir Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Les Mis√©rables will provide a significant boost to Sydney’s tourism industry when it opens in March 2015.

TTF acting chief executive Trent Zimmerman said headline productions like this are major drawcards for visitors, with an estimated 91,000 visitors to inject $32 million over the six month season of Les Misérables.

“Major events are essential for the visitor economy, providing a reason for people to travel, adding to the cultural fabric of the city and helping to stimulate spending,” Zimmerman said. 

 

Booking.com has announced the addition of its 500,000 property with The Leonardo Hotel in Berlin, giving customers even more options when planning a holiday.

 

Tourism Garden has been appointed as the Australian representative for the Kyoto Convention and Visitors Bureau.

As official representatives for the Kyoto Convention and Visitors Bureau, Tourism Garden will work with media and trade on a range of tasks, including media updates and travel enquiry assistance.
