Trafalgar has appointed Donna Reed to the maternity leave position of sales manager for Southern and Far North Queensland, effective immediately.

Donna replaces Jane Hughes who is currently on maternity leave.

 

The Solomon Island Visitors Bureau (SIVB) and Solomon Airlines have formalised a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of boosting the destination’s overseas profile and increasing international visitation numbers.

Under the agreement both parties will jointly explore and implement activities to promote increased tourist traffic to the Solomon Islands in existing mature source markets and other markets with potential.

 

All tickets issued by Hahn Air’s group department are now protected by Securtix – its comprehensive insolvency insurance coverage.

In the event of a flight cancellation due to insolvency of the respective operating airline, Hahn Air has guaranteed to refund the unused part of each ticket issued by its Group Department and provide reimbursement for any additional costs.

The company has teamed up with transport provider Bamba Experience to launch the new passes, with North America and Eastern Europe to be next on the agenda.

Three passes are currently available, with the Bangkok to Hanoi Pass priced from US$1,065 and valid for up to a year.
