Foodies to flock to Double Bay
By admin

The InterContinental Sydney Double Bay has confirmed two more culinary offerings for its retail ground floor of the soon-to-open hotel.

Bondi’s Henley Wholefoods and Shuk Bakery will join the Double Bay extension of Shaun Presland’s contemporary Japanese Sak√© Restaurant & Bar, and a restaurant and bar project from The Group, headed by Adam Abrams and Julian Tobias, operators of The Island, as well as Eddie Levy and Michael Hwang, operators of The Lobo Plantation.

The new offerings are in addition to the hotel’s in-house first-floor restaurant and bar, headed up by Executive Chef Julien Pouteau.

Shuk will introduce an artisan bakery to the ground floor space, offering an array of fresh homemade loaves and pastries influenced by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, while Henley’s Wholefoods will bring a range of gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free options to Double Bay.

InterContinental Sydney Double Bay is scheduled to open next month.
