Registrations now open for the Qantas Distribution Platform portal
Edited by Travel Weekly

Qantas has today opened registrations for its new Qantas Distribution Platform portal, giving travel agents an option to directly access the airline’s New Distribution Capability (NDC) content.

The portal, which was announced in December 2023, will give agents who may not access Qantas NDC content via a technology partner the ability to shop, book and service flights using the capabilities of the Qantas Distribution Platform.

Through the Qantas Distribution Platform, agents in more than 60 countries can access a wider range of products, features and capabilities which are only possible via NDC.

Tailored for simple customer bookings, the portal aims to make benefits of the Qantas Distribution Platform more accessible for agencies.

The portal is part of the airline’s commitment and investment in the capabilities of its NDC program, including lowering domestic and trans-Tasman fares for trade partners, designed to unlock broader industry benefits and modernise how agents service customers.

Agents can find out more and register to access the portal through the Qantas Agency Connect website. Most agents will receive access to the portal 7-10 business days after completing the portal application process.
