Luxury Escapes has signed an exclusive partnership with premium travel provider Abercrombie & Kent amid a global surge in travel touring.

Luxury Escapes has seen a near 40 per cent increase in tour bookings in 2023 and the new deal will give members exclusive online access to a global portfolio of Abercrombie & Kent products from October 2023.

Products will specialise in luxury small-group journeys spanning multiple destinations and interests – including but not limited to tours across Japan, Egypt, India, Africa and Europe.

Abercrombie & Kent products will be available to be booked stand-alone or in conjunction with thousands of other Luxury Escapes products in a tailored itinerary.

    An Ultra Lux offering

All Abercrombie & Kent products will feature on the highly coveted Luxury Escapes Ultra Lux platform which offers a dedicated service for members looking for the most premium luxury travel experiences. The Ultra Lux platform caters to the most discerning traveller and Abercrombie & Kent purchases will receive access to a range of exclusive Ultra Lux provisions including complimentary airport transfers (conditions apply) plus a dedicated Luxury Escapes concierge service available 24/7.

    A booming luxury travel market

The partnership between Luxury Escapes and Abercrombie & Kent comes as data from the 2023 Travel Trends Report reveals travel tops the discretionary spend list for most Australians with 60 per cent of respondents saying they planned on spending more on travel in 2023 than they did pre-pandemic. These findings are only reinforced by data from Bain & Company that shows that spending on luxury goods and experiences grew by roughly 20 per cent in 2022 with luxury hospitality a key driver in the $2.1 trillion luxury market.

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Abercrombie & Kent to Luxury Escapes,” co-founder & CEO, Luxury Escapes, Adam Schwab, said.

“At Luxury Escapes, we are proud to offer the very best travel products, advanced technology and customer service and look forward to sharing the Abercrombie & Kent selected portfolio with our members.”

“With more consumers looking to book those once-in- a-lifetime holidays, we’re excited to bring even more exceptional travel to even more people around the world.”

Debra Fox, the managing director (APAC) for A&K echoed Schwab’s delight.

“We are very proud to partner with Luxury Escapes and have our Luxury Small Group Touring itineraries accessible through their innovative Ultra Lux platform,” Fox, said.

“A&K’s portfolio of journeys offer everything this new Ultra Lux customer segment is looking for – immersion, local encounters and authenticity.
