Beyond Travel is taking travellers off the beaten track via newly returned Signature Journeys
Edited by Travel Weekly

Beyond Travel has announced the return of its exclusively developed Signature Journeys, a premium offering providing experiences that take travellers beyond the usual tourist tracks in Croatia and its neighbouring countries.

Michael Lavilles, CEO of Beyond Travel, explained, “Signature Journeys are a product of Beyond Travel’s many years of expertise and deep understanding of the destinations we sell. What makes them special is how they’re crafted: a combination of different services put together with in-depth knowledge of each point of the destination. These journeys offer a truly immersive experience, combining the best of the coast, sea and land.”

“Signature Journeys are not standard cruises and tours that you can buy from any other company,” Lavilles insists. “These journeys are designed by us, built on our extensive knowledge of destinations like Croatia where we have more than 25 years of experience.”

The exclusive access Beyond Travel offers does not stop at sea. The land portion of the journeys offers an in-depth exploration of cities, regional centres, and national parks with many secured as guaranteed departures making them risk-free to travel agents and their clients.

Beyond Travel’s Signature Journeys provide significant value to travel agents too.

Lavilles commented, “First and foremost, Signature Journeys are products you can’t buy anywhere else, and the public actually wants them. They’re a good money earner for agents as the average price is on the higher side. Because we develop the products, we also have a lot of flexibility with travel agents needs, particularly with charters and group bookings.”

In addition to Beyond Travel’s Signature Journeys, the company has also developed more than 100 cruise only options for 2023 and 2024 with access to more than 75 deluxe, first-class and traditional vessels.

“We go beyond the usual ‘off-the-shelf’ experience,” Lavilles continued. “From the moment our travellers step on board the cruise vessel, every detail has been curated by us. The meals, the tour directors, the excursions – everything is designed according to our knowledge and expertise. And with tipping included, it removes friction points for Aussie travellers, so the delivery of the experience is that much more refined.”

Beyond Travel is committed to investing in its travel agent partners by offering incentives such as the chance to experience the product for free and substantial discounts for their immediate family.

Agents can win one of three prizes on offer:

    • 1st prize is a 7-night cruise onboard the MS Suzana plus $2,000 towards airfares
    • 2nd prize is a 7-night cruise onboard the MS Diamond plus 1 night staying in Split or Dubrovnik
    • 3rd prize is a 7-night cruise onboard the MS Diamond

“The first intent is for travel agents to actually experience the product, and to experience it for free,” Lavilles said.

“We’re offering the ability to experience our deluxe ships and our best-of-destination ships. On top of that, we’re offering a great discount for travel agents of up to 20 per cent on cruises and 15 per cent on land when travelling with their immediate family.”
