Silversea appoints Cassandra Kerr as new director of strategic business development APAC

Silversea has appointed Cassandra Kerr as director of strategic business development APAC.

Kerr’s strong leadership skills will focus on Silversea’s APAC business development strategy to ensure the ultra-luxury cruise line is well positioned for strong sustainable growth.

“I am thrilled to join Silversea at this time of expansion, in a role that will target strategic opportunities with trade partners as well as broader partnerships across the industry, as I work closely with the Managing Director, Marketing Director and Sales Director in the Silversea Asia Pacific team,” Kerr said.

Kerr has decades of experience in leadership roles within the travel industry, both in Australia and abroad. Kerr was in charge of MICE business development for IHG AUNZ before joining Virgin Atlantic to spearhead growth of the airline’s global corporate business and successful implementation of the joint venture with Delta Airlines.

Kerr was Regional Manager Australasia at Qatar Airways where she successfully drove enormous growth in premium cabins revenue, working both in Australia and the Middle East. Most recently Kerr held the position of Senior Manager Market and Industry Development at Sydney Airport.
