Southwest? More like Southpaw! Fight erupts on Southwest Airlines flight
By admin

A passenger on a Southwest Airlines was filmed throwing punches and grabbing another flier in a headlock for “aggressively” bumping into his wife.

The pair came to blows on a Monday flight from Dallas to Phoenix, Arizona when the attacker, who was with his wife and children, accused the other passenger of being aggressive.

“He approached me aggressively with my family,” said the attacker, explaining his actions.

“I will sit down in jail for you approaching my family. I will die for my family! Don’t play with my family! That’s why I beat your ass!” he added.

“He’s a pussy! He’s a pussy!” the attacker shouted with the other passenger in a headlock.

Other passengers intervened, shouting “Do not hit him again!” Witnesses say both men were taken off the flight but the Dallas Police Department made no arrests.

One passenger said that the attacker punched the other man “four to five times” before she started to record the fracas.

Southwest did not elaborate on the incident but said in a statement:

“We commend [the flight crew] for managing the situation and ensuring the Safety and Comfort of the other Passengers in the cabin.”

The airline added that the flight arrived in Phoenix on time.

This was the second incident caught on camera on a Southwest Airlines flight in as many days. On Sunday, passengers flying from Havana, Cuba, to Fort Lauderdale in Florida had to evacuate after the plane’s cabin filled with smoke.

Southwest said one of the plane’s engines and its nose were hit by a bird shortly after takeoff. The flight returned to Havana and passengers evacuated using an inflatable slide.
