Have A South Coast Summer with Cupitt’s Estate’s New Luxury Pod-Style Accommodation

Cupitt’s Estate in Ulladulla on the South Coast of New South Wales is an industry award-winning experience of hospitality, with its on-site winery, brewery, restaurant, bar and vineyard.

And now, with the launch of ten new luxury accommodation pods that are just a stone’s throw away from their long list of hospitality offerings, the estate is all the more… stately!

Just five minutes from Milton and Mollymook Beach, Cupitt’s Estate is the perfect one-stop shop for a relaxing, indulgent South Coast getaway.

Developed for the ultimate intimate escape, each modern two-person pod boasts a private entrance and views, and includes a lush king bed, and separate bedroom and living/dining areas.

The outdoor decks frame sweeping views of the surrounding paddocks, and Budawang Ranges. Select pods also feature freestanding outdoor bathtubs, the perfect spot to soak up the stunning rolling hills of the surrounding South Coast location.

The family-owned and run estate was pioneered by matriarch Rosie Cupitt, who ventured to France and Italy to hone the craft of wine and cheese making.

The passion project has since evolved into an award-winning, artisanal fromagerie, which Rosie heads, as well as a boutique brewery, and winery that produces 24 European wine varieties!

A horticulturalist by trade, Rosie is also responsible for the landscaping of the luxury pods.

“She’s a powerhouse” says Wally Cupitt, head winemaker of the estate.

On arrival, guests will receive a welcome drink and will be treated to a complimentary in-room bottle of Cupitt’s Estate sparkling wine, mini bar items, as well as a wine tasting experience in the Cupitt’s Estate Cellar Door.

Breakfast hampers are also included for the first night of each stay.

Guests will get access to the kitchen garden and property’s farm walks, and are able to take an exclusive vineyard walking tour to learn the story behind Cupitt’s. From dairy country to luxury estate, the history if Cupitt’s is exemplified by their charming, on-site store which was built as a creamery in 1862, and still has its original shingled roof.

Sustainability at Cupitt’s Estate is also a key focus of their new accommodation offering, with each pod equipped with compost and recycling facilities.

Bathroom amenities feature refillable, Australian-made products, and tea and coffee facilities are also sustainably and locally sourced, with tea from Ulladulla’s Something’s Brewing and pre-dosed plungers with local Sunday Life Roasters coffee.

From worm gardens, to septic systems, Cupitt’s has been eco-engineered by operations manager, Tom Cupitt.

The waste-not-want-not mentality is reflected by the seasonal restaurant menus which feature homegrown produce from the kitchen garden, as well as foraged goods like samphire, watercress, and warrigal greens, collected from the nearby wetlands.

Single night stays at Cupitt’s Estate start from $450 per night for a midweek stay and $500 per night on weekends.

Additional features of the pods include complimentary WiFi with in room USB and multimedia hubs, air-conditioning, Smart TV, Bluetooth speakers, toaster, kettle and convection microwave oven.  Each pod also features works from the local Milton Van Rensberg Gallery.
