Topdeck unleashes 2022/23 range with revamped travel styles, extra flexibility and new trips
Calling all youth travel gurus: Topdeck has unveiled its 2022/23 product range, revamping its trip styles to make it easier than ever to find the perfect trip for your client.
Plus, the tour operator has introduced extra-flexible booking conditions and mandatory vaccination across its products so clients can feel confident and secure on their COVID-era jaunts.
Topdeck has kept busy over the past two years, sprucing up its product offering and renaming its trips to better reflect the type of traveller each one is aimed at.
Speaking to thousands of customers and travel agents, the tour operator discovered there was confusion over its trip styles and trip names, so they decided to pull up their socks and come up with a sensible solution.
Using the feedback as a guide, Topdeck has rolled out four distinct trip styles that paint a clearer picture of what your clients can expect on each trip, including:
Get Social – With a maximum group size of 51 pax, this style is a non-stop adventure for highly social and energetic travellers. Get Social trips focus on bucket list attractions and shared experiences – it’s the OG of Topdeck trips.
Play & Pause – This style is for those who prefer a smaller group (maximum 28 pax), want a balanced mix of free time and group activities and value privacy to recharge at the end of the day.
Delve Deep – Travelling with a maximum of 20 pax, this style takes a closer look, using local know-how to create a more immersive experience. Delve Deep is for clients who are curious and on the hunt for unexpected and unique encounters.
Sail & Swim – This style is all blue waters, pristine beaches, awe-inspiring sunsets and boat life. Sail & Swim trips have a maximum of 36 spots for adventure-seeking social butterflies craving saltwater and scenery.
Featuring 11 new trips from all over the world, Topdeck’s new range offers the brand’s iconic hassle-free transport and logistics allowing travellers to unwind, be themselves and experience something real – from a locally-led food tour of Berlin and a sauna experience in Helsinki on Get Social: Northern & Eastern Europe Highlights, to a nine-day immersion in New Zealand’s north island on Delve Deep: New Zealand North Island.
Other highlights include the Delve Deep: Northern India, with exclusive departures so travellers can experience Diwali Festival and Holi Festival of Colours and the opportunity to join a local family in Jaipur to take part in rituals and street festivals, plus an opportunity for clients to see their own backyard in a new light with Delve Deep Australia.
Topdeck has also changed the names of all its trips for the 2022/23 season to give you a better idea of whether it’s right for your client.
The new names feature the trip’s style, destination and length, for example, Mega European is now called Get Social: Mega European and Bravo Italia is now Delve Deep: Italy.
Book before 31 December 2021 to take advantage of Topdeck’s ultra-flexible cancellation and refund policies on trips departing before April 2023, including full refunds for travellers who test positive for the virus within 14-days and up to 24 hours before departure, or are prevented from travelling due to a government-enforced lockdown.
That’s on top of their pre-existing Freedom to Flex policy, which allows unlimited free changes up to 60 days before departure, rolling deposit vouchers for cancellations before full payment is due, and the option to pay in instalments until 60 days prior to departure.
