Topdeck slashes 25 per cent off a majority of its trips

Topdeck Travel has launched its new ‘Don’t Just Dream It’ campaign, encouraging young travellers to not just dream about travel, but do it in 2021.

The new campaign, that aims to reignite consumer excitement for travel, has been launched alongside a 25 per cent discount on a majority of its trip itineraries including its most popular European itineraries.

The ‘Don’t Just Dream It’ sale has been launched following Topdeck’s recent research that revealed that 93 per cent of young adults stated that the COVID-19 crisis and subsequent lockdowns have caused an increased desire to explore the world, compared to before the pandemic.

The findings also highlighted that travellers are keen to travel for longer, with an increase in demand for trips that are on the road for three weeks or longer, in order to switch off from the events of the last year.

Trade advisors have access to a 25 per cent discount for their customers on selected trips booked before 28 February 2021 departing between April 2021 and March 2022. These include itineraries such as ‘European Getaway’, ‘Japan Highlights’, ‘Spirit of Europe’, and the ‘Canadian Rockies’.

After a year of restrictions and lockdowns, Topdeck’s research revealed that travel is clearly needed in order to boost the wellbeing of today’s young travellers, with over a third stating that going on holiday and enjoying the perks of travel is an important part of unwinding.

The findings also revealed that 45 per cent of Gen Z reported that they were worried about not being able to travel and explore the world due to the ever-changing restrictions.

However, to help ease concerns, and to give trade partners the confidence to book their clients, Topdeck recently announced its COVID-19 Assurance Policy to give customers the assurance they need to book much-needed travel plans.

The new policy is applicable to all 2021-22 bookings made before 30 April 2021 and means any customer prevented from travelling due to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis or a government-enforced, national lockdown will be eligible for a full refund or travel credit on their travel plans.

In addition, Topdeck’s EXTRA-flex policy allows customers to make a change to their departure date or choice of tour up to 30 days before travel.

“With news of a vaccine roll-out, we’re optimistic that 2021 will be the year that we are all able to get back on the road, doing what we do best and exploring some of the world’s most incredible destinations,” Topdeck’s global general manager, Charles Knowlton, said.

“We’re as excited as our customers to get back to creating travel experiences that feel real, finding new friendships that last a lifetime and experiencing spine-tingling moments to never forget.

“In order to make getting back to normal as easy as possible for our customers, we’ve enhanced safety measures across all areas of our brand in line with the WTTC’s guidelines, developed assurance policies and rolled out a new and exciting range of trip discounts.

“We believe that this combination will ensure travellers are excited but importantly, confident to not just dream it, but do it in 2021 and book their dream travel adventure with Topdeck.”

Topdeck invites trade partners to join their APAC Facebook group by clicking here to stay up to date with current promos, and and agent training can be arranged agent via this booking form.
