FOMO alert: Time’s running out to enter South African Tourism’s epic famil comp!

It’s the talk of agency-town right now, and it won’t be long before the entry gates to South African Tourism’s famil competition close!

That’s right, folks. Time is running out for travel consultants to test their knowledge of South Africa via SAT’s engaging training app and, in doing so, go into the running for a spot on a fully hosted famil that includes flights, seven nights of four- to five-star accommodation (including a luxury safari lodge), most meals, activities, transfers, and game drives.

More than 720 agents from across Australia and New Zealand are already playing the game and learning all there is to know about South Africa. As a result, 97 per cent of those consultants say they feel more confident when recommending the destination to their clients.

Now, by this stage, you’re probably wondering, ‘How does the game work, exactly?’

Well, each time an agent successfully completes a level in a game, they earn stars (one star equals one entry, FYI). The more stars earned as they play the game, the more entries into the competition they will receive, and the higher their chance of being one of six winners.

The maximum number of entries one person can earn is limited to the maximum number of stars that can be achieved by successfully completing all levels of the game.

Agents can also bring out their competitive side as they play against other travel consultants from across the trans-Tasman. Those with the highest number of points are listed on a leaderboard, so everyone knows who’s topping the rankings.

The competition runs until 10 January 2020 before the six lucky winners are drawn at random on 15 January and notified on 17 January.
