Satisfy your foodie clients with a taste of LA

Satisfy your foodie clients with a taste of LA

Famous faces can be found all over Los Angeles. But in the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World’, food is also a bonafide superstar.

In fact, Michelin recently announced that 24 Greater Los Angeles area restaurants were awarded its most prestigious accolade in its inaugural Michelin Guide California selection.

To celebrate Excite Holidays and Los Angeles Tourism has teamed up to shine the spotlight on some of the amazing eateries that make LA such a dream dining destination in ‘A Taste of LA’.

To give travel agents with all the latest info on LA’s award-winning dining and bar scene, LA Tourism has partnered with Aussie presenter Jason Dundas to create the newly launched LA Culinary Badge that travel agents can access on the LA Insider online training program.

The culinary badge includes three videos that cover LA’s best restaurants, bars and, unique to LA, the “Taco Trek!” This new module will provide agents with plenty of great dining experiences that they can recommend and include in their client’s next LA itinerary.

Showcasing everything the City of Angels has to offer, from traditional tacos to decadent desserts, fine dining to fusion food trucks, celebrity hotspots to little-known neighbourhood nooks, this latest eight-page guide offers suggestions on the best places to satisfy all your client’s culinary cravings.

The campaign also includes an exclusive incentive – offering one agent the chance to win ‘The Ultimate L.A Foodie Holiday’.

The agent who demonstrates the most improved sales growth within the campaign period and completes the new LA Culinary module on the L.A Insider training module, insider.discoverlosangeles.com, will WIN a trip to experience the ultimate LA foodie holiday, including: one return economy class to Los Angeles from winners nearest capital city; three nights’ accommodation at SLS Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel at Beverly Hills; a Dining experience at The Bazaar by José Andrés and a selection of exclusive foodie tours.
