Plane passenger hilariously documents flight with pantless seatmate

An Air France passenger has taken to social media to document her seatmate’s bizarre behaviour during their flight.

Lizzie Thompson was flying from Paris to Los Angeles when she whipped out her phone and began capturing moments involving a male seatmate.

It all started when the passenger sitting across the aisle stripped down to his boxers for the 10-and-a-half-hour flight:

The man in the seat across from me has taken HIS PANTS OFF for the flight and is just in his boxers. Flight attendants seem unconcerned. This is going to be a long flight @AirFranceFR #CDG to #LAX pic.twitter.com/Z0EfktDwpD

According to Thompson, the man then tried to get a jam session going on the plane after spotting a fellow passenger with a ukulele:

He just shouted at a man who boarded with a ukulele (also have questions) to COME SIT WITH ME AND MAKE SOME MUSIC. Wtf is going on.

Thompson claims the flight attendant offered to move her, but stopped short of asking the man to put his pants back on:

Update @AirFranceFR – alerted the flight attendant. He offered to move me (which would mean losing my bulkhead legroom) but just shrugged when I suggested he ask the man to put his pants back on.

The man did manage to cover up during the flight – just not the bottom half of his body. He also helped himself to a number of mini bottles of wine:

Much to Thompson’s relief, her wacky seatmate finally put his pants back on:

Finally, his pants went back on. Good news: nothing bonds a group of passengers like a man half naked in your section. Shout out to the flight attendant who slipped me extra wine and did keep checking in to make sure I was good.

She even answered some questions about the ordeal from those following her tweets:

To answer a few q’s I’ve seen:
1. He took pants off in the plane bathroom pre-takeoff. He put them back on pre-landing in aisle right next to me.
2. He was neither American nor French
