TravelManagers partners up with Luxury Escapes

TravelManagers partners up with Luxury Escapes

TravelManagers has become the first travel network to partner with Luxury Escapes.

Speaking at TravelManager’s 2018 annual national conference, House of Travel Australia CEO Joe Araullo announced the partnership to a crowd of eager Personal Travel Managers (PTMs).

Travel Weekly was lucky enough to tag along and join TravelManager’s PTMs for their three-day conference in sunny Oahu, Hawaii.

And can we just say, waking up to this every morning has been an absolute delight?

When House of Travel first got involved with travel managers, we had 30 PTMs, we’re now close to 550. At the time we were actually a disruptor to the industry,” Araullo said.

“Disruptors are always entering the industry and sometimes we have to adapt and work with them.”

“The latest disruptors are the sort of sort of coupon buying type operators like Luxury Escapes and TripADeal, and late last year at our fireside chats at our state meetings we got a lot of feedback about how they were disrupting our business.”

So I’m pleased to announce that TravelManagers is the first travel network to agree to a commercial partnership with Luxury Escapes.”

According to, Araullo the partnership will give PTMs access to Luxury Escapes packages.

His theory behind the partnership is that when it comes to disruptors, it’s more a case of working with them, than struggling against them.

Since Luxury Escapes launched in October 2013, it has established a membership base of over two million and helped over one million Aussies choose from a great range of luxury holidays.

They’ve also just launched a regional headquarters in Singapore, with staff now operating on four continents.

Not a bad bandwagon to join if you ask us.
