Virtuoso signs its latest luxury cruise line

Viking Star cruising through Fjords of Flam, Norway

What do you get when an international cruise line partners up with a leading international travel agency network? Well, we’re about to find out.

That’s right folks, the Aussie based arm of Viking Cruises has joined the ever-growing ranks of Virtuoso partners.

For the uninitiated, Virtuoso specialises in luxury and experimental travel, and is over 1700 suppliers strong – which are hand picked to provide high end Virtuoso clients with exclusive benefits and the best products.

They’re also present in over 45 countries. So, not a bad powerhouse to partner up with.

The inclusion of Viking as a preferred partner for Australia and New Zealand will open new sales and marketing opportunities to the region’s luxury travel advisors and their highly desirable clientele.

“Virtuoso has a highly selective vetting process for all of its partner suppliers and Viking Cruises has been strongly endorsed by our Virtuoso agency members” Virtuoso APAC Managing Director, Michael Londregan said.

“With cruising recording remarkable growth in the Australian luxury travel marketplace, we are pleased our Australian and New Zealand advisors will now have access to special amenities, values and experiences that Viking offers exclusively to the Virtuoso network.

“Australia and New Zealand are leading markets for cruise travellers worldwide and Viking brings both ocean cruising and river cruising options to our network of advisors who are experiencing record demand. Viking’s international flavour will be of strong appeal for discerning travellers looking to cruise with an international clientele,” he added.

And Londregan isn’t the only one seeing the benefits – Viking Cruises Australia and New Zealand Managing Director, Michelle Black, said this was an exciting partnership for the cruise line.

“Virtuoso’s acceptance process is incredibly selective, so becoming a preferred partner is a true honour,” Black said.

“The reputation Virtuoso member advisors have for outstanding dedication to their clients is a perfect fit with our passion and commitment to delivering an outstanding cruising product.

“Viking has a long term relationship with Virtuoso in the US and we are delighted to also now offer Virtuoso clients in Australia and New Zealand memorable experiences whilst on board our award-winning fleet,” she added.
