Taiwan roadshows comin’ in hot

Wild terrain, beautiful scenery and vibrant cities? Get us to Taiwan.

Taiwan is a nine-hour flight from Australia – but boy is it worth it; you’re met with one of the most diverse landscapes in Asia, from deserted sandy beaches to lush nut plantations.

If you didn’t know those places existed in Taiwan, you’ve been missing out on some serious ~wanderlust~ opportunities.

But it’s also your lucky day – since the Taiwan roadshows are kicking off in Melbourne next week.

Taiwan offers countless opportunities for water activities on the ocean, streams, and lakes, as well as for mountain climbing, bicycling, bird watching, fine dining, and observing the enchanting cultures of 16 indigenous tribes.

To show this to all those severely uninformed Aussies, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau is sending a roadshow delegation our way – featuring 40 tourism professionals and a performing group of indigenous tribes-people.

The promotional tourism events promise to leave attendess with imperative, unforgettable reasons they should travel to Taiwan.

In addition to providing information on Taiwan’s latest tourism products, the roadshow delegation will also offer performances by the indigenous Amis Kakeng Musical Group. This is a percussion band that “beats out” the beautiful traditions of the tribe on drums and other instruments, and uses song to arouse a surge of interest in its tribal culture.

The members of the band will use their unique indigenous sense of rhythm and creativity to present a performance of bold and unrestrained vitality that will remain in your memory forever.

You’ll also get to sample (read; gorge on) enjoy delicious Taiwanese eats such as sun cakes, pineapple pastries, mung bean cakes, and nougats, leaving you stuffed, and with unforgettable impressions of the allure of Taiwanese cuisine.
