Tigerair announces new product enhancements

Tigerair announces new product enhancements

Tigerair has announced two new product enhancements designed to make flying with the airline easier and more convenient than ever before, just ahead of the busy summer travel period.

For the first time, Tigerair has introduced mobile boarding passes, enabling customers to use their mobile devices to book, check-in and board their Tigerair services.

In another first for the airline, Tigerair customers are now able to make an accommodation reservation at the same time as booking a flight via the Tigerair Australia website. This new enhancement has been made possible through the airline’s partnership with Booking.com, which has thousands of accommodation options in Tigerair destinations across Australia and Bali, catering for traveller’s budget and tastes.

Adam Row, Tigerair Australia’s Commercial Director said the announcements are another example of the airline’s attempts to further streamline the check-in process for customers, as Tigerair continually works to improve the overall customer experience and make flying the airline more convenient.

“The introduction of mobile boarding passes and the option to secure accommodation at the same time as purchasing a flight with Tigerair are the latest in a long line of product enhancements designed to make flying Tigerair easier and more enjoyable than ever before,” said Row.

He added: “For the first time, travellers can manage their entire Tigerair journey from the palm of their hand, thanks to the introduction of mobile boarding passes. This important enhancement guarantees our customers have access to a seamless, integrated mobile experience from the time of purchase to boarding.”

“The team at Tigerair Australia is pleased to be able to roll out these innovations just in time for the upcoming busy summer travel period.”
