Aqua expeditions goes female only
Aqua Expeditions, the luxury Amazon and Mekong river cruise operator, has announced women-only journeys to depart from January next year.
The initial offering is two departures, but Aqua Expeditions have slated further departures for the remainder of the year.
Aqua Mekong will operate a three night itinerary in January while the Aqua Amazon will operate it’s female four night trip in March.
“Aqua Expeditions has launched these series to offer women a safe and inclusive environment to explore destinations which may otherwise feel too ‘off the beaten track’ for a solo traveller,” Aqua Expeditions spokesperson said.
The itineraries include cycling and kayaking activities and local community meet and greets.
“Travelling alone can often be hugely therapeutic and enable a different level of immersion into local culture. It can be an incredible chance for self-discovery and personal growth and Aqua Expeditions are hoping this will give women the chance to achieve just this whilst discovering the best of Peru and Cambodia,” Aqua Expeditions said.
