Hong Kong Airlines to Seoul plus added frequency from Gold Coast

Hong Kong Airlines will launch daily service between Hong Kong and Incheon International Airport in Seoul, Korea and increase frequency from the Gold Coast/Cairns and Auckland route.

Commencing 16 December 2016, the Airbus A330 aircraft will be deployed on the Seoul route, a new destination that will further strengthen the airline’s network in Asia-Pacific, and provide travellers who love South Korea’s cosmopolitan capital with more travel options.

In addition, as Christmas and Chinese New Year holidays are approaching, starting 9 December 2016, Hong Kong Airlines will increase the frequency of its flight services to Gold Coast/Cairns, Australia, from three times to five times weekly, and daily during Chinese New Year.

Also, during this time flight services to Auckland, New Zealand, will be increased from seven times to 10 times weekly commencing 10 December 2016, providing more flexibility for passengers to plan for a trip during the festive seasons in the Down Under.

Hong Kong Airlines Chief Commercial Officer, Li Dianchun, said, “we are delighted that Hong Kong Airlines is launching this Hong Kong-Seoul service.  As the capital of Korean culture, fashion and entertainment, Seoul has long been a favourite among Hong Kong travellers.  For those looking for a nature retreat, Gyeonggi Province, Gangwon Province and Incheon are just a short train ride away.  Hong Kong Airlines will continue to grow our route network in Asia, and strengthen Hong Kong’s position as one of the world’s major aviation hubs.”
