United Airlines tests your trivia skills

Forget Tuesday night trivia down at your local pub because United Airlines’ has the trivia nights to end all trivia nights.

Their annual trivia nights kicked off in Melbourne on last week, followed up by the first Sydney event on 23 August, and the agents were out in force and competitive spirit.

Approximately 130 travel consultants in both Melbourne and Sydney were tested on their knowledge of US destinations including; New York, Beverly Hills and LA as well as United’s updated product offerings most notably the new Polaris Business Product.

These events are part of a series of trivia nights held across Australia and New Zealand over the coming months which will see travel consultants quizzed on their familiarity of United Airlines, the US and general knowledge.

United trivia nights are known for their great prizes – which saw Jaclyn Schurmann from Corporate Traveller, Melbourne’s winner receive return tickets to Los Angeles and Las Vegas packaged with accommodation, entry to some local attractions plus other added benefits.

Sydney’s Jacqui Brizgala from Consolidated Travel who has been a regular attendee for eight years without a single win receive return tickets to Reno, Nevada, packaged with accommodation and other added benefits.

A total of five lucky winners, from Melbourne and Sydney have received prizes thanks to United and sponsors with many more up from grabs over the coming months. The Melbourne event was sponsored by Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau and Los Angeles Tourism & Convention, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors and Travel Nevada. While the Sydney night was also supported by Beverly Hills, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors, Travel Nevada as well as NYC and Company.

United Airlines are continuing on their trivia trek across the country, appearing still at the below destinations. So get your team together and thinking caps on and pop along to win some great prizes.
