STA appoints new Country Manager

STA Travel Australia has promoted former Product Trading and Marketing Director, Andrea Robinson to the newly-created position of Country Manager.

Robinson will report directly into global Chief Trading Officer, Glen Mintrim.

The appointtment comes off the back of a strong start to the quarter for STA Travel Australia, with the company reporting monthly growth of 14.7 percent in February 2016 when compared to the previous year.

“This is an exciting time for STA Travel Australia as we continue to place primary focus on the increasingly important millennial market,” says Robinson.

“With an emphasis on digital and content strategy, a range of exciting partner

campaigns, and a major project to reengage our core student demographic, we

expect the positive trends seen in Q1 so far to continue throughout 2016.”

Robinson comes for a background of various senior leadership roles with STA Travel across both the Australian and UK global divisions for more than a decade.
