The new way to earn more commission

The industry veteran bringing back events in a big way is now rewarding agents for getting involved.

Travel Weekly recently shared the news that David Tonkin was launching a new venture entitled World Events Online (WEO), where Aussies are connected with all the details of events in America and Europe, the ideal travel companion.

WEO lists thousands of concerts, sport, theatre & festivals in North America & Europe “hand-picked” for Australian travellers, then the site prices and handles purchase of the best tickets available, including sold out events.

WEO’s founder Tonkin has now revealed it will be paying 5% commission to all agents for event bookings via the website.

The first travel agent to buy tickets from WEO was Jetsetter Travel owner in Ayr, Queensland, Rane Reguson.

Reguson’s clients bought three top tier tickets to a Celine Dion concert in Las Vegas in October via WEO. Cost to the client was US$690, with a AU$50 commission then passed on.  Said Rane

“We are loving the site. One of my colleagues here is about to book heaps of NBA tickets,” Reguson said.

“The ease of booking and process of the tickets arriving via download is just fabulous.”

And if any requested events are not listed on WEO, agents can email info@worldeventsonline.com and the event will be added within a few hours to help the agent earn their commission. As an example, WEO lists the NBA games of teams that Aussies are playing for (in major cities), but not all games in all cities, however any NBA game can be added.

Agents can pay with an agency credit card or using the clients credit card. Commission is paid on both.
