Randall Marketing changes hands

Hotel marketing specialist Randall Lui has sold the Aussie sectors of the business to former StayWell Hospitality exec Greg Parkes.

Randall Marketing represents a total of 27 hotel properties in Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia to travel agents, destination management companies and conference organisers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Parkes has taken over the operation of the Australian business as of August 1, with nearly 30 years of operational and sales and marketing hotel experience in Australia and Asia backing his new venture.

Parkes has worked with Accor, Millennium, Mirvac and most recently with the StayWell Hospitality Group based in Sydney.

Lui will still be heavily involved as a consultant to the Australian business, based in the North Sydney office, and will continue to own and operate Randall Marketing offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei and Bangkok.

“I have known Randall for many years and I know his business very well,” Parkes said.

“Randall Marketing is a respected and strongly established marketing company and I am looking forward to continuing to work with Randall to provide the exemplary service he is famous for as well as expand the business into new markets and new technologies.”

The business will continue to operate  from its current offices at Level 4, 161 Walker Street, North Sydney.
