Vanuatu’s $50 fares to hit sweet spot for agents

Vanuatu is offering significantly discounted rates at properties around the country as well as special fares from Air Vanuatu to Australian travel agents.

As part of a self famil initiative to drive industry visits in the wake of Cyclone Pam, this is an integral part of the next phase of the destination’s tourism recovery.

Select hotels are offering bona-fide agents and their partners two free nights’ accommodation, or great discounts on their usual rates.

Coupled with Air Vanuatu’s AUD$50 agent fare, a trip to Vanuatu for the travel industry is now more affordable than ever.

The country has made great progress in rebuilding and reopening tourism infrastructure and facilities, and now is the time for agents to visit to see it is ready to welcome tourists back, Vanuatu Tourism Office’s Australian representative, Anne Morris said.

Air Vanuatu’s AUD$50 agent fare, exclusive of taxes, is available on Sydney and Brisbane flights to Port Vila, with AUD$60 agent’s rates for flights from Port Vila to Espiritu Santo and Tanna. Air Vanuatu also offers discounted rates for a travel companion.
