Know your daily data spend abroad

Before jumping on a plane abroad, there are a few things you need to organise; the cat needs feeding, your plants need watering, and you need a sim for using your phone OS.

Since the introduction of Daily Data Limits 18 months ago, TravelSIM has reported a decent amount of positive customer feedback flowing into their inbox, with the feature giving customers a handle over how much data they’re paying for.

By setting maximum amounts they wish to spend on data in a 24 hour period, customers don’t need to stress about going over or being charged for more data than what they’ve requested.

“We recognised that our customers want to stay connected on social media and we wanted to ensure that our customers could also stay in control of their data spend,” TravelSIM’s CEO Jamien Zimmermann said.

“This is a great tool which combines both convenience and control.”
