Hunt is on for a new Adventure World MD

The search is on for a successor following the resignation of Adventure World’s managing director Fiona Hunt.

Hunt will be leaving The Travel Corporation in July, following a four year tenure with the company which included a two and a half year stint as MD at Contiki Australia.  Hunt is said to be relocating to the UK.

“After four enjoyable years heading up Contiki and Adventure World and having achieved some key career goals with TTC, it has been a difficult decision to make, but I have decided to relocate to the UK with my family. It has been a great experience to work with a team of such outstanding people, and I feel privileged to have held leadership positions with two prestigious travel brands, as well as being a core part of a hugely successful global company,” Hunt said.

TTC ceo John Weeks attributed Hunt to the growth of Contiki under her leadership, and said “her admirable business acumen led to the successful acquisition and re-focus of Adventure World”.
