Travelport ups the offerings for agents

Travelport is giving agents the power to book airport parking with the new Travel Parking Group app now available.

The Looking4app is now accessible for travel agencies via Travelport Smartpoint, with the Travel Parking Group (TPG) providing car park reservation and distribution systems for agents, airlines and airports.

TPG features a choice of meet and greet, onsite and offsite car parks across its global supplier network, with over 2000 airport and port parking products currently on the table.

The Looking4app offers Travelport-connected agents an integrated airport car parking payment solution, which picks up flight and customer PNR details, making the overall booking process fast and easy, at the same time driving profitability skyward.

The plug-in is free to download via the Travelport Marketplace.

TPG’s commercial director Martin Mansell said the Looking4app boasts a range of secure airport parking products at the click of a button.

“Our products are not only competitively priced but they are secure and approved, with thousands of customer reviews,” Mansell said.

“By tapping into TPG’s Looking4app, travel agents can save time, boost revenue and retain their customers.”

Travelport’s director of partnership and alliances Pieter Van Der Voort also commented on the launch, adding that it offers Travelport-savvy agents access to a new source of extra revenue.

“Booking airport parking previously required agents to open multiple systems and often involved logging into several different websites to search for the best price which was a time-consuming process,” he explained.

“With TPG’s Looking4app incorporated into our industry-leading agency point of sale product, Travelport Smartpoint, agents can perform a simple search and offer airport car parking services to customers quickly and easily.”

“By accessing Looking4app, agents can increase the overall revenue per trip and save themselves a lot of time by adding airport parking to existing reservations and back-office systems automatically.”
