A single step for kids, a giant leap for parents

A single step for kids, a giant leap for parents

Keeping kids entertained on flights is never easy, but Virgin Australia is hoping to lighten the load for parents.

Teaming up with Bound Round, Virgin has kickstarted a unique content agreement that took off on April 1, and features over 30 Bound Round destination and attraction videos, made by kids for kids.

The new in-flight fun will have new content added every month, with the videos presenting educational travel content in an engaging way, getting Virgin Australia’s smallest travellers excited about their journey.

Combining Bound Round content with the High Flyer Passport program, Virgin Australia is showing off its commitment to the junior flyers.

Travelling kids and families can find the Bound Round videos in the Watch section of the inflight entertainment system via the wireless service and seatback screens.

“Bound Round focuses on providing kids with relevant information and a hands-on learning experience to enhance the value of their holiday,” Bound Round’s founder and ceo Janeece Keller said.

“This deal with Virgin Australia means our content is now more readily accessible for kids while on their travel journey. It helps involve them in the planning process, and keeps them engaged during a traditionally more stressful time for parents – in transit.”

Destination videos included at the launch ranged from peeks at Taronga Zoo, Dreamworld, Sunshine Coast and Uluru, as well as jumping into other countries like NZ, Fiji, Singapore, Vanuatu and Phuket.
