Struggling to pack for a holiday?

Struggling to pack for a holiday?
By admin

Hotel manager turned designer, Vikki Scotts shares with us her top five tricks to looking and feeling amazing while on holiday.

1. Pack light

Key to any holiday is what to pack. Each item must be a multitasker – it must work in at least three ways. Must haves: A pair of beautiful sandals, a flattering swimsuit, sarong, kaftan, beads and a beach tote.

2. Add colour

Make sure your holiday wardrobe is a kaleidoscope of colours. Adding colour creates a new dimension to your basic holiday look and shows a true sense of style.

3. Travel-friendly fabric

Fabric choice is really important in the tropics. Take clothes that can be hand washed in a bathroom basin if need be and can dry quickly.

4. Comfort

Your holiday is a time to relax so comfort is key. Just because a garment is comfortable doesn’t mean it can’t look chic and stylish.

5. Accessorise

Accessories are my No 1 tip for anyone heading to the tropics.  Accessories allow your garments to be versatile so they can be mixed and matched effortlessly with an infinite number of options: and able to flow from daytime through to evening.
